He is the brother of film director Khoa Do and has acted in several of Khoa's films, including Footy Legends, which he co-wrote and produced.
What can't he do?
Each year he tours Australia performing his comedy show, The Happiest Refugee Live, which takes the best-selling book a step further.
The Happiest Refugee has made readers laugh and cry, and was described by Russell Crowe as "the most surprising and inspiring read I have had in years."
The book starts with his parents meeting and falling in love in war torn Vietnam, and tracks a young Anh as he and his family journey from their homeland to a refugee camp in Malaysia and finally Australia.
The stage show combines stand-up comedy with real life stories, photos and filmed pieces to retell his amazing story.
When one of Australia's most talented comedians delves deep into his own life's joys and sorrows, the result is an unforgettable night at the theatre that leaves an audience uplifted and quite simply experiencing... happiness.
The show starts at 8pm.
