A 60-year-old woman has been arrested over her alleged role in a large scale drug supply syndicate in the Hunter.

Strike Force Raptor North investigators arrested the woman at an Aberglasslyn home just after 10am on Wednesday and charged her with supplying greater than a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.
Police will allege in court the woman was involved in the transportation of up to 2000 MDMA tablets.
She was refused bail in Maitland local court on Wednesday, where the matter was adjourned to July 17.

It was the latest in a string of arrests by strike force police in the Hunter, who recently charged four men - aged 21, 28, 35 and 40 - as well as a 19-year-old woman, who remain before the court.
Strike Force Raptor North started an investigation into the large scale commercial supply of methylamphetamine and MDMA in the Port Stephens-Hunter and Newcastle police districts.
The investigation is ongoing. Police want anyone with information that could assist to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
