They may be just 11, but the visiting NZ riders performed a haka to send a chill down your spine at the Mighty 11 BMX Test series at Maitland on Sunday.
But it didn't spook Australia's No.1 Murray Preston who won the boys' final of the prestigious Mighty 11s and the Boys Test series.
It was an Aussie trifecta in the Boys Test with Bailey Mills second and Bailey Seckold third ahead of Kiwi riders Cooper Richardson and Finn Cogan.
Ashton Pace finished second in the Mighty 11s, with Mills third ahead of Kiwi No.1 Cogan.
In the Girls Test series NZ's Lily Greenough from Australia's Charlotte Guy and her Kiwi teammate Tahlia Nelson.
The Maitland BMX Club got the thumbs up from the nearly 3000 people who attended the Mighty IIs and BMXtreme event on the long weekend.
The meeting is a prelude to the club hosting the NSW Championships in October.
The logistics were impressive with 686 entries, including 83 from Maitland, 20 from New Zealand and the remained from all points of NSW and Australia.
The huge undertaking received support from the Maitland City Council and major sponsors Kennards Hire and Ravensworth Glencore.
