The loved story has been recreated with life-like animation for a special 2019 release on July 17.
Maitland's Hoyts Green Hills and Reading Cinemas will both screen the much-anticipated film.
But that isn't the only place you can see these amazing creatures this school holidays.
Why not visit the 'cast' of The Lion King at Hunter Valley Zoo?
In a trip to the zoo, you'll be able to meet lions, monkeys, birds, meerkats and more.
The Nulkaba zoo is open every day during the school holidays so there will be a time to suit everyone's schedule.
Entry is $29 per adult, $25 for concession, $15 for children between 3 and 15 years of age.
Children 2 years and younger can enter at no cost. There are also family deals available.
Family Passes are $80 for two adults and two children, with entry for additional children at $13 each.
The Lion King 2019 brings together a long list of well-known names including Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce Knowles-Carter as Nala, and Seth Rogan as everyone's favourite pig Pumba.
Returning as the voice of Mufasa is James Earl Jones.
The new film follows the same lion family as the 1994 animated movie- Mufasa, Sarabi, Scar and Simba.
