The Kurri Kurri Bulldogs will have two players sidelined with suspension at the same time after second-rower Jarred Anderson copped a four-match ban for a dangerous throw.

Anderson entered an early guilty plea this week and avoided a visit to the Newcastle Rugby League judiciary but will now join fellow Kurri forward Reid Alchin on the banned list.
The 67th minute incident was penalised at Kurri Sportsground on Sunday when Anderson lifted Central fullback Cameron Anderson, who went well above horizontal during the tackle and landed on his head around 15 metres out from the Bulldogs' try line in front of the goal posts.
Kurri were leading by eight points at that stage but Central hit back two minutes later to move within striking distance. The Bulldogs held on to win 22-20.
Anderson, who rejoined Kurri in 2019 while also making two appearances for the Knights in NSW Cup, won't be free to play again until the second last round when the Bulldogs host Souths on August 17.
His grade three charge was worth 500 points according to the match review committee. This was increased by 100 because of a non-similar offence in the last two years. He then earned a 25 per cent discount for entering an early guilty plea.
Cessnock's Scott Briggs and Maitland's Geordie Connelly also entered early guilty pleas this week.
Goannas playmaker Briggs copped a one-match suspension for his grade two high tackle in Saturday's 30-18 loss to Souths at Cessnock Sportsground.
Pickers five-eighth Connelly avoided a ban for his grade one high tackle late in Sunday's 40-26 defeat to Lakes at Cahill Oval but he now has 75 carryover points.
In the lower grades, Maitland's Chris Walters entered an early guilty plea and will miss three matches for a high grade high tackle from the weekend.
Cessnock's Dan Metcalf will front the Newcastle RL judiciary on Thursday night charged with a medium grade high tackle. He faces up to five games on the sidelines.
