A number of locations around Maitland and South Maitland will be impacted by a planned power outage on Saturday.

It will impact Maitland Park netball courts lighting and amenities building; Maitland Park BBQs; Maitland Park tool shed and St Ethel's building - Maitland City Brass Band building from 8am and 4pm.
Maitland Aquatics Centre will be closed, and there will be no swim lessons during the closure.
The centre will resume regular operating hours on Sunday, August 11.
The power outage will also impact parts of Maitland and South Maitland.
Streets impacted include Ballard Street, Blomfield Street, Church Street, Devonshire Street, Elgin Street, Fran Dawson Road, Gipps Street, Les Darcy Drive, Maitland Park, Railway Street, Rose Street, Smith Street, Steam Street, Therry Street, Cross Street, and Sparke Street.
The purpose of the outage is to carry out essential work on power lines in the area.
The Maitland Park public amenities will also be closed for plumbing works between 6am and 9am on Saturday.
