The son of El Grand Senor and Mad Manalishi has won eight of his 19 races starts and has a personal best of 25.20 seconds for the journey.
The fawn dog clocked 25.55s in running second to Diesel Herrera in the heats last week and is perfectly drawn in box two to land on the lure and give the others something to chase.
Hardest to beat will be Bear's Octane from the one box and Diesel Herrera, which has drawn box three and is chasing a hat-trick of wins over the 450m at Maitland.
The City Hotels Challenge also brings together staff and patrons from four the city's hotels - the Bradford, Rutherford, Windsor Castle and Commercial Hotel Morpeth.
Each hotel will have two runners in the final and the winner gets to present the trophy and have bragging rights for the next 12 months.
Bradford Hotel at Rutherford won the prize in 2018 with Londonderry trainer Sam Sultana's runner Wicked Quality.
The first of 10 races is scheduled to start at 4.07pm and entry is via the Evans Street gate off Louth Park Road.
