The former Maitland High School student is currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of New England.
While moving from Maitland to Armidale for study was a "huge change", the first year student has already had a lot of opportunities, including the recent 'Go Rural' road trip, funded by NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN).

The four-day trip incorporated practice visits, clinical activities and other activities in rural and regional NSW towns.
"I'm hoping it will encourage me to apply for grad positions in the rural community. I'm really passionate about paediatrics, wherever I can work in that, whether it's rural or in a big city helping out children, I'll be happy to go there," Kassadi said.
Go Rural was developed to demonstrate the professional and personal rewards of healthcare careers in remote and rural locations.
