The event, which is organised by the City of Maitland Pipes and Drums band, featured a whole host of Celtic entertainment.
City of Maitland Pipes and Drums secretary Greg Queenan said he heard so many great things from people who attended.
"We had Indian dancers this year, people thought they were fabulous," Mr Queenan said.
"A highlight was also the Lithgow Pipe Band, they're a display band who are just superb. They occupied the whole floor space.
"The Irish dancers were great. There were a lot of littlies and the expressions on their faces - they're so focused. You can tell they enjoy it.
Mr Queenan said the String Loaded Celtic Fiddle band were also a hit.
"I was in the hallway and a lady came out tearful. I said 'is everything okay?' Mr Queenan said.
"She said 'they're in there playing Danny Boy and it just brought me down'.
"They were happy tears."
Mr Queenan said about a quarter of the audience also donned tartan clothing for the occasion.
He said the event would be back next year with a Christmas in July theme.
