He may be sweating on his own future but off-contract veteran Alex Glenn says nothing will distract him from helping Brisbane prove the doubters wrong in Sunday's NRL elimination final against Parramatta.

Broncos coach Anthony Seibold has been on record saying a new two-year deal is in the works for 31-year-old Glenn, who has made a successful switch from the back-row to the centres in his 11th season at Red Hill.
However, former Kiwi international Glenn said on Friday he was no closer to inking a new deal ahead of their sudden-death clash at Bankwest Stadium and admitted it was playing on his mind.
Asked if this would be his last finals series with Brisbane, Glenn said: "I don't know and I wish could tell you.
"It (NRL future) is in the back of the mind, that uncertainty, because I have to provide for my family.
"But the thing that has got me through is handling my business on the field.
"That will do the talking for me. The rest is up behind the scenes to my manager."
Instead, Glenn said his focus was bolstering a Broncos outfit he believed had been written off after they scraped into eighth spot.
Brisbane had to rely on other results to clinch a finals berth against fifth-placed Parramatta at a sold out Bankwest Stadium after an upset last round 30-14 loss to Canterbury.
"There have been a lot of games where people have doubted us and we proved them wrong and became victorious," Glenn said.
"I know we didn't have our best game last week but that was a learning curve and we survived that and we are still in the finals.
"We want to prove the doubters wrong with a strong performance.
"I always had confidence that we would be in the finals and we are here and are ready to rock this week."
Glenn believed the stage was set for Brisbane to stake their finals claim against the Eels as they looked to end their longest title drought and claim their first premiership since their 2006 triumph.
"What better stage than going up against such a quality side in front of a sold out crowd," Glenn said.
"There have been a lot of games where people have doubted us and we proved them wrong and become victorious."
Glenn said Brisbane would take confidence from their round 24 17-16 golden point win over the Eels at Suncorp Stadium barely two weeks ago.
"We have to have that same mentality. I know we didn't have our best game last week but that was a learning curve (against Bulldogs) and we survived that and we are still in the finals," he said.
"We have to have that same mentality when we last played the Eels, we wanted to prove the doubters wrong with a strong performance - that is what we have to replicate this week.
"This is finals football, there is no fall back now, it is do or die."
