That's why Fresh Hope Care is running a special lunch to celebrate Carers Week 2019 and give nod to our wonderful carers community.
Fresh Hope Care operates 7 Independent Living Retirement Villages, 8 Residential Care Services providing various combinations of aged care services in different locations throughout New South Wales, including Greenhills Residential care and Greenhills Retirement Living in East Maitland.
The Maitland Carer's Group meets the first Wednesday of every Month from 1pm to 3.00pm at Fresh Hope Care's Green Hills Community Hall.
Each month Fresh Hope invites presenters that can offer valuable information and insights for carers to assist them with their caring role.
During the meeting there is also time for carers to share stories with each, make new friends and leanr from one another and enjoy afternoon tea which Fresh Hope Care provides at no cost.
On October 16, a special lunch is being hosted at East Maitland Bowling Club's Billabong restaurant for carers in the area.
The lunch will commence at 12.30pm.
"We are holding the lunch as a special thank you to celebrate the wonderful people in our community who care for loved ones so selflessly, " said Robyn Rowlinson, Field Marketing Manager at Fresh Hope Care.
"They are our heroines and heroes of all ages who do not always get the recognition they deserve and we want to make them feel a little special by taking them out to lunch."
Places for the lunch are limited, any carer that lives in the Maitland area is welcome to attend by booking with Trish Grainger on 0477 375 331.
Fresh Hope Care has a set of values that are the foundation for its unique approach to care given to the people who experience their services, and those who provide them. To find out more information visit:www.freshhopecare.org.au
