Newcastle representative five-eighth Chad O'Donnell and former Newcastle Knights forward Pat Mata'utia have both signed deals with the Pickers.
It comes on the back of the recent signings of representative hooker Alex Langbridge and his brother Daniel from Wests last week, as well as that of highly credentialled hooker Tyler Randell from Wakefield in the English Super League.
Throw in coach Matt Lantry after his premiership success with Wests last season, and the Pickers are in a strong position for a real tilt at next year's premiership.
The club are still negotiating with centre Geordie Connelly for next season amid interest from other clubs.
Coach Lantry is understandably thrilled to have O'Donnell and Mata'utia on board.
"It continues what we're trying to do, not just recruiting excellent footballers but people who are good for the club on and off the field, with the right mentality," Lantry said.
"Chad has the skill set to test any defensive line. His best attribute is his running game, but he also presents opportunities for those outside him.
"And Pat is the sort of mobile, athletic back-rower I like to have on the edge of the ruck. Defenders have to commit to the tackle or he'll run over the top of them. Plus he's played 14 games for the Knights which is great experience."
Lantry wouldn't commit to whether the Pickers' signing spree would continue, but said he is starting to feel comfortable about the squad he has.
One loss so far has been that of utility player Frazer Price who has linked with South Newcastle.
And under 19s coach Dane Tilse has linked with Central Newcastle.
