Residents commuting through Oakhampton to access Maitland and Rutherford will have to take a different route soon when Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) carries out maintenance on Oakhampton Level Crossing.

The work is schedule for the weekend of October 26 and 27.
The crossing will be closed to all road and pedestrian traffic from 6am on the Saturday, October 26, until 6pm on Sunday, October 27.
The works ARTC will carry out are essential to maintain the integrity and the safe operation of the rail corridor and level crossing for road users.
Similar works were carried out at the crossing in June.
