Richmond Vale trainer Jason Mackay's two-pronged attack on the Million Dollar Chase finished with third and fourth place on Friday night at Wentworth Park.
Good Odds Harada won the race to the first turn and sprinted clear to claim the $1 million first prize for trainer Frank Hurst.
Mackay's Get It Gizmo, from box one, came third behind Shima Shine. Mackay's Flying Bazza, from box three, was fourth.
Mackay was the only trainer with two finalists.
Mackay said Get It Gizmo was set to return to Victorian owner-breeder Harry Manolitsis to prepare for the Melbourne Cup series.
Flynn, which was also with Mackay for the Million Dollar Chase, will also be set for the series.
