Maitland City Council will make a decision on a development application for an $29 million dollar shopping and medical centre in Chisholm this week.

The development application, which would be located 20 Heritage Drive, is seeking approval for the first stage of 'Chisholm Plaza'.
The proposed complex would include a retail premises incorporating a supermarket and specialty shops, medical centre as well as food and drink premises.
A total of 434 car parking spaces will be provided on site, including 17 accessible spaces.
The proposal was publicly exhibited from July 25, 2018 to August 8, 2018.
As a result of this process no submissions against the development, and six letters of support in favour of the development, were received.
Council officers have recommended the project for approval subject to a number of conditions.
