Agland and opening partner Chris Merchantl with 34 stamped their authority on the Easts bowling attack after Paterson dismissed the Griffins for 122.
Faulkner led the way with the ball and Steve Jenkins with 3-26 and Rigby Vane-Wood (2-21) took the other wickets as Sam Robinson top scored for Easts with 54 and Jasper McGill made 20
Paterson chased their target in just 19.1 overs posting 2/127.
SMR's bowling attack ensured their total of 133 was enough to get the points with a 10-run win against The Old Victoria Cricket Club at Maitland Park.
Ryley Borrow with 27 not out and Jordan Willard 22 were the mainstays of the SMR innings. Connor Lynch took 4-39 and Chris Dawes 3-29 for Old Victoria.
SMR shared the wickets around with David Hughes, Joshua Horn and Jordan Willard picked up two wicket each as they bowled Old Victoria out for 123.
David Beale top scored with 39 for the visitors and Dominic Bourke with 13 was the only other Old Vic batsman to reach double figures.
In the final A-grade fixture, Tenambit Morpeth Bulls had a two-wicket win in a shoot-out against Port Stephens. The Pythons were out for 243 in the final over, with the Bulls making 8-244 with three overs to spare.
