The not-profit organisation is selling trays of Fresh North Queensland Mangoes as part of their fundraiser.
Vice chairperson Montana Duggan said it was an opportunity for people to support a vital community service.
"A portion of each tray will be donated to the Friends of Palliative Care," she said.
"We are hoping to be quite involved with the New Maitland Hospital."
The funds will help pay for any items needed by palliative care practitioners at the New Maitland Hospital as well as chemist accounts for terminally ill people, education for palliative care nurses and equipment to assist nurses.
Publicity officer Rhiannon Varley said everyone in the community would eventually need palliative care.
"More people want to die at home or in an environment where they can have lots of family around and the new hospital will allow that," she said.
"We'd like to assist with the palliative wing, and that will be our main focus over the next 12 to 18 months."
The cost per tray is $25, and people must place their order by Wednesday, October 30. There will be pick up points at East Maitland, Aberglasslyn, Branxton and Thornton.
The group will host their major fundraiser, a walkathon and fun run, in April next year.
