The mum of three and self confessed Sex and the City fan, had a brush with her biggest idol, Sarah Jessica Parker, in Sydney on Sunday.
Parker was launching her shoe range at David Jones' Elizabeth Street store, and Jenny was front and centre after waiting in line for four hours.
The star was at the store between 5.15 and 7pm Sunday to sign pairs of her shoes, purchased from her range at David Jones.
Jenny bought two pairs and stood anxiously in line chatting to other Sex and the City tragics.
"I was hoping I would be able to see and meet her but I thought there would be thousands of other women wanting to do the same. I thought it would be impossible within an almost a two-hour period," she said.
Jenny purchased her shoes about 1.30pm and as the afternoon rolled on she noticed she was in the line's first 10, waiting for SJP to show.
"One family had been waiting in the line since 9am," Jenny said.
"The line started to snake through the store's shoe department which was getting busy and we knew she wouldn't be far away. Then people started taking photographs and she walked in," Jenny said.
"One of the women I was waiting with actually went to a similar signing at Bloomingdale's in New York. She was telling me how lovely Sarah Jessica was.
"Another woman in the queue who was celebrating her 50th also bought two pairs - one to wear, the other to be encased. She has a walk-in robe with a signed pictured of Sarah Jessica on the wall. She wants to place the encased shoes under the picture," Jenny said.
"With Sarah Jessica what you see is what you get," Jenny said. "She made everyone feel at ease and as if it wasn't a bother posing for pictures and talking. I told her that she was just as beautiful in person as she was in Sex and the City. She said: 'heaps of make-up, heaps of make-up'. She is very natural, down to earth and really made you feel special and that she was genuinely interested in meeting you," Jenny said.
She said she was on such a high after meeting the star she celebrated with a few Cosmopolitans with her mum, sister and niece.
"This has really fulfilled a life long dream - something I thought would never be possible," she said. I've been to New York five times and the reason I love it so much is because of the show," Jenny said. "There's just this magical vibe about the place. I did the Sex and the City tour and have visited there in Winter and in Summer - I'll always go back."
So where does Jenny plan wearing her new SJP's? "My daughter Hannah is getting married next year so maybe they'll come out of the box then," she said.
