Vickery reached his 100 off just 40 balls and faced just 48 balls overall as City took just 16 overs to reel in Tenambit Morpeth's total of 193.

"We went out at 12 runs an over for 16 overs. It was very impressive."
Vickery showed he was in good nick with the bat with 28 in the opening game against Northern Suburbs, but the former Eastern Suburbs turned solid form into sublime with a dominant innings which enabled City to chase down a target of 193 in just 16 overs for the loss of one wicket..
City lost the toss and in tough conditions dismissed Tenambit Morpeth for 192 in the 46th over.
Cameron Wynn was the best of the bowlers picking up 3-27 followed by Nick Bower 3/42. Todd Francis and Tim Burton both picked up two. Matt Latham was superb behind the stumps picking up three stumpings.
"We always knew 192 was a little under par but some outstanding hitting from our top order did the job within 16 overs hitting 160 in boundaries," Trappel said.
Vickery was part of a 110 partnership with Wayne Dunlop (27). Josh Trappel kept up the momentum finishing with two sixes in his 32 not out.
