For local Caroline Enright, helping people is all in a day's work. The former nurse took ownership of Telarah Pharmacy just one month ago and hasn't looked back since.
"It's something I've always wanted to do,so when the opportunity came up to purchase the pharmacy here and give back to the local community I grabbed it with both hands," she begins.
After a long career in nursing, Caroline qualified as a pharmacist in 2005 and began working in pharmacies around the area, fulfilling her ambition to bring her nursing background into the day to day lives of people looking to manage or improve their health.
"It's been everything I hoped for and more, I love it. Helping people, working on my feet in an active job and contributing to the health of others is something I am truly passionate about.
"I have been touched by the amazing support I have received by all of the people around me. I'd particularly like to thank my staff and the loyal and long standing customers who have followed me."
Alongside her team of 4, Caroline says the focus for the pharmacy is on health, giving specific services for customers with diabetes, heart disease and respiratory conditions, alongside the provision of all usual daily health essentials.

Describing herself as 'people person', Caroline says it's this aspect of her role at the pharmacy that she revels in the most.
