While it's only early days, the position is a big improvement from last season when Raymond Terrace finished sixth.
Skipper Steve Smith said he put the team's early success down to the players sharing the load each week.
"Everyone's contributed through the year," he said. "We're doing the little things well."
But Smith said despite their 100 per cent record, his side wasn't feeling the pressure.
"We're still a new side, we're growing," he said. "There's no expectations."
The next challenge for the Terrace is sixth placed Northern Suburbs in a two-day match at Lorn Park starting this weekend.
Norths are currently sixth with just one win to their name so far, but Smith expected them to be a challenge.
"It's always tough to go to Norths and win," he said "I'm surprised they've only won one game so far."
After that Terrace take on the big fish - City United and Wests, who are sitting on top of the ladder -before the Christmas break.
"By Christmas you've played everybody so you've got an idea where you're at," Smith said. "It will be interesting. We just have to keep doing the little things right."
Elsewhere in first grade, Eastern Suburbs take on City at King Edward Park, who come into the match from very different wins last week.
Easts clinched victory from the second last ball against Norths, while City easily accounted for Thornton in a six-wicket win.
Thornton will be hoping for a better performance this round, but will be up against it facing a strong Western Suburbs at Thornton Oval.
Wests had a commanding victory over Tenambit Morpeth last week, smashing 305 in their innings before bowling the Bulls out for just 134.
Tenambit Morpeth will take on Kurri Weston at Morpeth Oval. The sides sit last and second last on the ladder respectively and will be looking to find some form before the mid-way point of the season.
