Porter follows under-16 teammates Joe Hancock and Jet Lee into the Easts team after strong performances in second grade.
Easts skipper Jack Bennett said all three teenagers had been in outstanding form and deserved their runs in the side.
Bennett said Lee would play in second grade this round, but there was every chance all three would feature in the same first grade team this season.
Porter takes the gloves from wicket-keeper Michael Gavan, who has other commitments, and Easts would like nothing better than for him and Hancock to reprise their 233-run partnership in the junior ranks in October.
It's an important game for Easts who can consolidate their spot in the top four victory going into the Christmas-New Year break.
Bennett said the entire Easts squad had lifted this season with real competition for spots.
He said Englishman Toby Godfray had been a key inclusion and everyone at the club had brought into setting new standards in their preparation for games, from training to even warm-ups on the day of the game.
