The first of the videos shows off the Metford facility's maternity wing which will comprise six individual birthing suites with each having its own birthing bath.
"This is a really exciting time for the community of Maitland and the Lower Hunter", Women's and Children's Services Midwife Nurse Manager Paula Richards said.
"Thousands of babies are born in our community each year and we have designed the new hospital with each and every one of those in mind.
"The service we provide at The Maitland Hospital offers the best possible start for them and their parents and soon we will be able to deliver that service in a new, larger and more welcoming space."
The maternity services at the new hospital will have access to a non-public-facing path from the birthing suites to the theatres should emergency care be required.
"The new Maitland Hospital is providing us the opportunity to create new ways of working, enhance efficiency and most importantly, deliver better health outcomes for our patients," Hunter New England LHD Executive Director, Infrastructure and Planning, Dr Ramsey Awad added.
"With construction of the main building now underway, we are one step closer to delivering improved infrastructure to the Maitland and Hunter Valley communities."
The new Maitland Hospital is scheduled to open in 2022.
