The free event will be held from 12-3pm on Thursday, February 20.
Maitland Council and the Seniors Festival Reference Group will run the event, which includes the concert as well as light lunch, cake and beverages provided free to attendees.
Due to the popularity of the event, a ballot system will be used to allocate tickets. Council will make 280 tickets available to the community. People wishing to attend can call 4934 9700 or email SeniorsFestival@maitland.nsw.gov.au to put their name into the ballot.
Names will be collected until January 24 and will be drawn at random by the Seniors Festival Reference Group on January 28.
Council's community and recreation acting manager Emily Livens said council was pleased to welcome Lonnie Lee and the Leemen back to Maitland again in 2020.
"The concert has been extremely popular in previous years and as such we are continuing with the ballot approach this year to ensure ticket allocation is as fair as possible," she said.
"In addition to the Lonnie Lee and the Leemen Concert, a number of events and activities will be occurring across Maitland during Seniors Festival. Council will be releasing a Seniors Festival program of events which will provide information on other activities on offer and will be available from local libraries and on Council's website in the coming weeks."
Seniors Festival will be held from February 12 to 23 and is themed 'Love to Celebrate' in 2020. For more information about Seniors Festival, including the program of events, contact council on 4934 9700 or email SeniorsFestival@maitland.nsw.gov.au.
