Terrace and Kurri Weston clash at Kurri Central and Northern Suburbs travel to King Edward Park to take on Eastern Suburbs.
It's back to back days of cricket with play on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
The top seven teams will all remain in contention for the finals irrespective of results on the weekend.
However, losses by Northern Suburbs, Kurri Weston, Raymond Terrace and Thornton will start to put them into a must-win scenario to make the top four with four rounds to play after this weekend.
Kurri Weston skipper Tyler Power said his side were enjoying their return to Kurri Central after work on their home ground at the start of the season had them on the road for the majority of matches.
"We're starting to turn around, I think a few home games has heIped. Every team steps up at home and we enjoy being back there," Power said. "We were away for the first half of the season. It's only 15 minutes extra travel but you are on a different pitch every week and the conditions are always different to where you train.
"The win last round against Wests gets us right back on track for finals. If we beat Raymond Terrace and Norths lose to Easts we could potentially be in the top four by the end of the weekend.
"It's a pretty big game for us on Saturday, Sunday. Unfortunately, we're normally pretty poor at Saturday-Sunday games to be honest.
"Sunday's don't seem to agree with us that much over the years.
"Terrace have been doing it a bit tough, but they've got some pretty good players and they'll bounce back."
The Warriors young guns have been stepping up with 18-year-old Daniel Russel scoring a century against Wests.
Seventeen-year-old Jack Sylvester made 29 not out and another two wickets took his season tally to 19.
"Young Snowy (Russell) batted really well at the top of the innings. He hurt his knee in the field and he was battling a bit, but we're hopeful he will be right," Power said.
"Jack is pretty keen, he is juggling footy training and cricket at the moment. He is playing under-19s at Kurri and the pre-season has got him a bit fitter which has been good for his cricket."
Raymond Terrace will be looking for their first win since beating Kurri Weston in round 4.
Northern Suburbs should be confident against second-placed Easts after their strong showing against City United on Saturday. It was a performance which would have earned the points against most teams.
In other games Thornton host City United in a crucial game for the Thunder and Wests will look to bounce back on the road against Tenambit Morpeth.
