"We are delighted that almost all of the riders have re-entered and in fact there are a few extras. There's no doubt the record $10,000 prize money has a lot to do with that," race secretary Maree Dall said.
One rider who will benefit from the postponement is Singleton's Luke Richards. The holder of 34 national titles, Richards is making a return to competition in 2020 with his main goal being the Finke Desert Race.
"I've had a couple of years away from racing with starting our family. When Kurri announced the TT Masters, the record prize money and the gun field, I grabbed the chance to get back on the bike",Richards said.
"The extra couple of weeks have given me some time to work on my fitness as I know that is one thing I really need to work on."
Queensland dirt track sensation Jarred Brook remains in the field and is a firm favorite following his outstanding 2019. Brook won all three national dirt track titles as well as all three national track titles.
Local dirt track star Paul Caslick is yet another multi National dirt track champion who has re-entered as has former International Trials Champion Beau Ralston.
The layout will use both the existing senior speedway track as well as including a section of the junior speedway track where we have added three jumps.
Racing is scheduled to get underway at 2.30pm, with finals in all divisions under lights.
