The festival is being held in memory of Mount Vincent girl Hannah Rye, who passed away in August 2017, aged 15, after a battle with Ewing's sarcoma.

Festival organiser and family friend Shannon Walters said Love Your Sister founder Samuel Johnson has been very generous to Hannah's family, and since her passing they have wanted to give something back to the charity - which donates every dollar raised to scientific research.

The festival will be held at the Tree House on Leggetts Drive, and is limited to 250 patrons.

Ms Walters heard about the "incredible" venue through the Mulbring school community, and said it will be perfect for the intimate event and to pay tribute to Hannah, their "little forest fairy".

"Growing up in the forest at Mount Vincent, she would always tell us stories about the fairies - she's quite the mystical little creature, our Han," she said.

The event will kick off at 2pm with the sultry sounds of Hunter singer-songwriter Anna Weatherup, who appeared on season two of The Voice Australia, turning all four judges' chairs with her rendition of Sting's Fields of Gold.

Next will be a patchwork of indie folk and coastal chill from the emerging Central Coast artist Sam Windley.

The afternoon will wrap up with a dream-like acoustic voyage from talented troubadour, Nick Saxon.

Ms Walters said it's a great excuse to have a chilled-out afternoon and raise some money for a great cause.

"Bring a blanket, chairs, some cheese and wine, take off your shoes and dance around on the grass," she said.

There will also be wood fired pizzas and a gelato bar on-site.

The kids are catered for with entry to the Kids Zone, with amusements and lawn games included in their ticket price (thanks to All Fun Rides).

The festival will run from 2pm to 7pm. Tickets are $50 adult and $25 child (4-14 years) and are on sale via stickytickets.com.au.
