A civilian employee of the NSW Police Force has been charged with assault following an incident at a music festival at Pokolbin last month.

About 1.30pm on Saturday, February 15, a 39-year-old woman was walking through a Pokolbin music festival with a friend when she was allegedly verbally abused by a woman she knew.
About 4.45pm, the same woman is alleged to have shoulder-charged the 39-year-old woman when she was returning from the bar.
The woman fell and suffered bruising and soreness to her shoulder and chest.
On Wednesday, February 19, the injured woman attended Kurri Kurri Police Station and made an official report of the incident.
Following investigations, officers from the Hunter Valley Police District arrested a 27-year-old woman on Thursday and charged her with common assault.
She was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice and a Provisional Apprehended Violence Order and will appear before Cessnock Local Court on Wednesday, April 15.
