Skipper Dean Bridges said while it was great to celebrate a consistent season they felt like there was unfinished business to complete by taking out the minor-major premiership double this year.
Paterson meet SMR in the major semi-final on Saturday with the winner advancing straight to the final and loser meeting the winner of the minor semi-final between Port Stephens and Tenambit Morpeth.
Semi-finals begin across the grade and one-day competitions on Saturday.
First to fifth grade finals are over the next two weeks with first playing fourth and second playing third in the semi-finals and the winners progressing to the finals on March 21.
In A to D-grade there are major semi-finals between the top two teams and minor semi-finals between third and fourth. The winner of the major semi goes straight to the grand final on March 28.
The loser plays the winner of the minor semi-final in the preliminary final on March 21.
Port Stephens claimed the second grade minor premiership on quotient difference after finishing equal of 49 points with City United.
Kurri Weston won the third and fourth grade minor premierships from Thornton and City United respectively. Eastern Suburbs were 5th grade minor premiers.
Tilligerry won the B-grade minor premiership from Port Stephens. Hinton won the C-grade and Lakeside Village the D-grade minor titles.
