Australia now has more than 450 cases of COVID-19, and Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced far-reach restrictions on non-essential gatherings of more than 100 people indoors. Schools, workplaces and public transport are set to stay open.
In just a week, the nation's cases of COVID-19 have increased almost four-fold.
The nationwide tally stands at 454 on Wednesday morning, up from 100 seven days ago.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison advised against any international travel this morning, as well as updated government advice on gatherings and social distancing.
The ACT recorded its third case of COVID-19 today, a woman in her seventies who travelled from Indonesia.
The Health Minister has promised a "major announcement" on coronavirus testing kits within 24 hours, as he released 230,000 new P2 masks for people testing and taking samples.
There is also expectations parliament will resume next week with far fewer people than normal.
