He reached out to his contacts and managed to buy a pack of 45 rolls from a friend who runs a local cleaning company.
He paid $45 for the pack and is selling individual rolls for $1 each from The Family Hotel, opposite Maitland Hospital.
"I bought the pub about 12 months ago and I took over 5 weeks ago. When I've been talking to customers they are saying they are struggling to get it," he said.
"It cost us $1 a roll, so that's what we are selling it for. I'm doing this to try to help the community, and in times like this that's what we all have to do."
Mr Vittadello offers takeaway meals and plans to ramp that up as social distancing rules tighten. He hopes patrons will continue to support the business.
"I've got staff here and we're doing what we can to try to survive," he said.
