Rutherford Hotel has taken the initiative to deliver the right kind of Corona to its patrons during the COVID 19 pandemic.
The pub has taken to its Facebook page offering home deliveries to those who are isolated and unable to make the drive to the pub's Super Cellars' bottle shop.
Within minutes of the post going live on Monday morning, the orders started to roll in - the first delivery made on Monday afternoon.
Deliveries are made daily between 3.30 and 5.30pm and cost $10 but orders over $100 are delivered free.
"We realise how serious this whole Coronavirus pandemic is and we realise how our important our customers are so instead of them coming to us - we will be going to them," said bottle shop manager Kerrie Redgrove.
"We have valued their support over the years before this crisis and now it's time for us to show our appreciation.
"We're like a big family here - I know every one of my customers by name," she said.
But the service doesn't just stop there. The pub has also taken the initiative to home delivery meals which will start Thursday.
You can stay updated via the pub's Facebook page or ring the hotel for more details.
"Even though this is a hard time for all of our staff and hospitality family, we will continue to smile knowing that we will all see you again very soon," the pub's Facebook post said.
