Fomer Maitland mum Amanda Gascoigne, has been named one of the 'Top 50 Women in Accounting' on a global list released by accounting industry provider, Practice Ignition.
Mrs Gascoigne, who now lives at Fingal Bay, was nominated by her peers before being required to make a submission answering questions and providing a 30 second video of why she loves what she does.

The judging panel selected the top 50 based on their active contribution to driving change, promoting inclusivity and embracing community.
Mrs Gascoigne started her accounting practice at her home when she was 28-years-old.
"At that stage accounting was a very male dominated profession but that has grown to 42 per cent women, so the gap is closing and that's fabulous," she said.
"I'm proud and humbled to receive these awards as they require nomination by peers who have recognised and appreciated my achievements and contribution to the accounting profession, as well as a judging panel and selection committee both of whom deemed me worthy of these honours," Mrs Gascoigne said.
"My thoughts are especially with Maitland people - many who backed me in those early days and entrusted their tax and business affairs with me."
