The staff donned superhero costumes last Wednesday and filmed a PE video for students learning from home. The video was posted to the school's Facebook page and has been viewed by more than 4500 people from as far away as Queensland and New Zealand.
"We know that as well as supporting students and their families in learning from home, it's really important for us all to stay connected and physically active for our mental and physical health," principal Wendy Moss said.
"We have a few closet superheroes among our staff, and we thought this would be a fun way to engage our students.
"We're hoping to keep students interested by varying our exercise regime themes regularly, and it's gratifying to know that it seems to be working: for a school of 77 students we're getting more than 4500 views, including students working out with us from New Zealand to the Sunshine Coast."
Subsequent videos have included the teachers dressed up in their pyjamas, and as sharks (working out to the song Baby Shark).
The staff have also personally delivered home learning kits to each child, and in lieu of an Easter Hat Parade, are encouraging the students to make their hats at home and send in their photos.
