Club Maitland City sports and sponsorship manager DJ Dilworth amazed television audiences across Australia with his incredible bowls trick-shot through the bowels of the club, navigating a path through beer kegs and doorways before hitting the jack and taking the shot.
Maitland Blacks women's player Felicity O'Donnell is also racking up views in the thousands after being featured on the Rugby Australia Facebook page crash tackling a wheelie bin as part of the Bin Isolation Outing phenomenon sweeping driveways across Australia and the globe.
Maitland Magpies and Maitland Mustangs players have been keeping the competitive juices up competing on their Facebook sites as to who can come up with the best trick shots.
The generosity of Maitland was also evident with Blacks president Pat Howard topping the individual fundraising effort and his team finishing third in the Laps for Life campaign to raise funds awareness to prevent youth suicide.
