Maitland Council may have just come up with the answer.
Council has launched a limited edition 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle for presale which celebrates everything we love about Maitland.
"Maitland is a vibrant and diverse city and the puzzle has been illustrated to represent places and icons that the community recognise and are passionate about," Council's Acting Coordinator City and Visitor Economy Caroline Booth said.
"It's also a bit of fun and a great way for residents to keep busy during home isolation.
"The puzzle is the perfect gift to encourage friends and relatives to visit our city as well. To ensure that people can secure their limited edition puzzle, they are now available for presale online."
The puzzle is available for pre-sale via the My Maitland website for $45.95 including delivery anywhere in Australia and will be ready for delivery from mid May.
To purchase the puzzle visit mymaitland.com.au.
The jigsaw is one of a number of events council has organised to help beat the lockdown blues.
At the end of last month council initiated its first the first LIVE at The Levee Home Session, featuring a livestream of Newcastle musician Daniel March, which streamed live into living rooms across Maitland and further afar.
"Our LIVE at The Levee Home Session is the first program we have had the opportunity to deliver online and we are looking forward to connecting with the Maitland community through live music, " The Levee Public Programs Officer David Graham said at the time.
