Does that sound like the Central Maitland you're looking for?
It should, because they're some of the key findings shown in a survey taken for council on what residents are looking for.
It also forms the basis of a new prospectus council launched on Friday to help shape the ongoing evolution of Central Maitland and The Levee as the city's lifestyle precinct.
The prospectus has been designed to inspire interest and attract investment from business types.
While it's no secret businesses everywhere have been doing it tough, Council is working to deliver actions to support recovery, reinvention and new business attraction.
In that regard, the prospectus will be a key tool for Council, existing business owners, real estate agents as well as other stakeholders to help entice the right sorts of businesses to Central Maitland and The Levee.
"On April 14 Council endorsed a COVID-19 response and recovery package and over the last 11 weeks we have been either planning or delivering a range of initiatives to assist local businesses," Mayor Loretta Baker said.
"I'm excited to see this Business Opportunities prospectus come to life for Central Maitland, but I'm equally excited to know that Council staff are already working on the development of a similar document to attract new businesses to Morpeth."

In addition, a significant change being implemented from next week will be the removal of the second tier from the two tier Marketing rate levy in the Central Business District.
"About 60 buildings facing The Levee Shared Zone are going to see a significant reduction on their rates notice and we hope this will provide relief to existing businesses, while also encouraging new businesses," Cr Baker said.
Council's Coordinator City and Visitor Economy Caroline Booth says the prospectus of business opportunities is designed to inspire investment in Central Maitland.
"So if there is a business that wants to join a dynamic, fast growing city, then we want to hear from you," she said. "It is important that we get the right mix of tenants based on consumer driven demand.
"With the help of residents, we've been able to identify a range of business types that complement the current offering, with quality and bespoke experiences at the forefront."
