COUNTRY DRIVE
Around Maitland
Just outside of the city, Maitland has so much beautiful countryside to explore. Why not jump in the car and explore it with the family? Starting from Morpeth, you can take in the rolling hills and green scapes through Largs, Rosebrook and Luskintyre before ending up in Lochinvar, all within an hour. Pack a picnic lunch and take a pit stop at Bolwarra Lookout during the drive, or stop into True Cafe or the Lochinvar Hotel for lunch at the end of the journey.
DOG EXERCISE
Bakers Brickyard Dog Park
Exercise isn't only for us, our four legged friends need it as well. Maitland has a number of parks and reserves where dogs may be exercised off their lead, from the riverbank at Lorn through to the Bakers Brickyard Dog Park at Raworth. To find an off leash area near you, or to brush up on the rules around use, please visit here.
MOVIE MAGIC
