Newcastle police are appealing for help from the public finding a man who went missing from a Coalfields town at the weekend.
Police said Matthew Herb was last seen at Weston about 10am on Saturday.
The 29-year-old Elermore Vale resident is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall, slim build, brown shoulder-length hair, spacers in his ears and tattoos on his right arm and both legs.
Police said Mr Herb was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper - with the words Tony Mayer Plumbing written on it in white print - and grey tracksuit pants.
It is believed he may be driving a 2007 white Mitsubishi van with the NSW registration plates MH33RB.
In an appeal on Sunday, police urged anyone with information as to Mr Herb's whereabouts to contact investigators.
Police can be reached at Waratah Police Station on 4926 6599. Alternatively, information can be passed on through the Crime Stoppers hotline, where tips can be left anonymously, on 1800 333 000.
