Driver dies in single-vehicle crash in Hunter region
A driver has died after a single-vehicle crash in the Hunter.

Emergency services were called to Wine Country Drive, North Rothbury, following reports that a car had caught fire after leaving the road and hitting a tree about 2.20am on Sunday.
The driver and sole occupant died at the scene, however they have not been formally identified.
Officers from Hunter Valley Police District along with Fire and Rescue NSW attended scene and commenced investigations.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
