* No deaths, leaving the state toll at 817 and the national figure at 905
* One new case: a parent of a student from East Preston Islamic College
* 83 people linked to the college are in isolation and there's a total of about 800 people across Melbourne's northern suburbs in isolation after being identified as contacts
* Asymptomatic testing is being offered to all members of the East Preston Islamic College community
* 28 cases from six households as a result of the northern suburbs outbreak, of which 16 cases are active
* Health authorities are doorknocking in Dallas, Roxburgh Park, Broadmeadows, Preston and West Heidelberg in a range of languages. Residents are encouraged to get tested, even if they have mild symptoms.

* 22 fines, including three for failing to wear a face mask and 11 at vehicle checkpoints
RESTRICTIONS
* Melburnians limited to travel within 25km of home
* Outdoor gatherings capped at 10 people, from two households
* Face masks must be worn at all times when outside the home
* On-site hospitality and non-essential retailers remain closed
