East Gresford trainer Charmaine Field hopes a potential wet track will counteract bad boxes for Bradman Best and Cherokee Outlaw in the Maitland Future Stars Maiden Final (400 metres) on Monday night.

Field qualified the pair with victories in heats two weeks ago.
The $10,000-to-the-winner final was postponed when last Monday's meeting was washed out. Wet weather again threatens and Field was welcoming a rain-affected Maitland track given the early speed advantage of her dogs' rivals.
"I want the rain, they know the track when it's wet and the other dogs are speed dogs," Field said.
Bradman Best has drawn box five and Cherokee Outlaw the eight for the decider.
"They did win well [in the heats] but they've got bad boxes this time," she said.
"The one on the outside likes the rails, he's only little.
"Bradman Best missed the start last week and he came out last from the seven box.
"It's going to be hard, they are all around the same time, but boxes are going do us I think."
Cherokee Outlaw recorded the equal fastest time of the heats - 22.39 seconds - with the Frank Hurst-trained Good Odds Tyson, which has box two. Hurst also has Sound Of Silence in seven.
The Maitland Future Stars Maiden Final is scheduled to start at 7.38pm.
