The Greens have brought in the toughest bonk ban in Parliament House to date, as questions remain over the pathways available for staffers to make complaints about sexual harassment.

Meanwhile Labor insists it has not tolerated MPs having relationships with their staff since 2018.
Greens leader Adam Bandt told media on Wednesday the party had no rules around MPs engaging in intimate relationships with staff as it had "very strong processes in place" to manage any potential complaints.
"I understand the Prime Minister is desperate to make this about everyone else but ministers are in a very important position ... they have enormous power, they are some of the most powerful people in the country," Mr Bandt told media.
A day later though, the Greens party room agreed to explicitly ban sexual relations between any federal Greens MPs and any federal Greens staff members.
The rules go further than other bonk bans in that they apply to all MPs - not just ministers or shadow ministers - and will prevent MPs from having sexual relations with staffers from other Greens' offices, not just their own.
"The Greens have always been leaders in Australian politics on issues of workplace relations, integrity and Parliamentary standards, and this further strengthening of our rules continues our commitment to safe workplaces," Mr Bandt said on Thursday.
Labor leader Anthony Albanese also said on Thursday relationships between members, senators and their own staff "are not appropriate".
The party has allegedly not tolerated such relationships since the Coalition's bonk ban took effect in 2018 and MPs were reminded of this on Wednesday night, prompting confusion about whether it was new or not.
"There is a cultural problem with sexual harassment and bullying in the workplace that is Parliament House," Mr Albanese said.
"We need to listen to the women who work here. We need to hear and act on their concerns and what they want done to ensure this is a safe and respectful workplace. A workplace that values their skills and contribution."
The bans came after the ABC's Four Corners program aired allegations on Monday night that acting Immigration Minister Alan Tudge had an affair with his media advisor Rachelle Miller.
Ms Miller also told the program she witnessed Attorney-General Christian Porter kissing a staffer at Public Bar in Manuka.
The allegations pre-dated former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull's infamous bonk ban, which prevents ministers from having sexual relationships with staffers.
Earlier, Prime Minister Scott Morrison sought to deflect questions about his ministers' conduct by suggesting Labor and the Greens institute their own versions of the ban.
"I would invite the leaders of other political parties in this place to ensure that their staff have the same protection that staff in my minister's offices have," Mr Morrison said.
The revelations have also prompted concerns about the avenues parliamentary staffers have to access justice.
Ministerial staff are employed under the Members of Parliament (Staff) Act, which gives the employing senators, members and officeholders the ability to terminate their employment at any time.
Ms Miller has since lodged a complaint with the Finance Department about Mr Tudge and Employment Minister Michaelia Cash, accusing her of forcing Ms Miller out of her office through a "fake redundancy" process.
However Greens senator Larissa Waters said the department's processes were inadequate.
She pointed out the department's own information on bullying and harassment says, "where a complaint is substantiated, Finance has no capacity to take disciplinary action against either a Parliamentarian or a MOP(S) Act employee".
"We've called on the prime minister to show some leadership and to take action. All we've heard is this isn't his problem, these issues are in the past and that there's a process. Well we took a good look at that process and it's full of holes," Senator Waters said.

The process does not have any implications for the alleged abuser. There is no power for the Finance Department to actually disciple or have any consequences for a member of parliament or a MOP(S) Act employee who is found to have sexually harassed or bullied or intimidated an employee in this building so this government has help up a process that's entirely inadequate and does not protect women."
Coalition senator Simon Birmingham said on Wednesday the Finance Department complaint process was "important" because it was "conducted independently, thoroughly and rigorously".
