The family man was found dead on the side of a Hunter Valley road on September 29, 2018.
He was in the Hunter to help with bushfire season when his body was found next to Carrington Street at Glenridding.
He had been the apparent victim of a hit-and-run, but detectives have now established he was first hit with a Toyota Hilux utility which fled the area, before the vehicle returned to the scene and two people got out of the car striking Mr Pullen in the head with an object.
In October police charged a 29-year-old Singleton man and a 30-year-old woman with murder.
Following further inquiries, about 9.10am Monday detectives attended a Whittingham home and arrested a 21-year-old woman.
She was taken to Singleton police station and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
She was refused bail to appear at Muswellbrook Local Court on Monday
