That's right, Maitland Regional Art Galley's Free Art January is back again with activities for the whole family.
This week marks the beginning of the annual Free Art January which will feature a range of hands on and free activities for audiences of all ages to enjoy this school holidays.
Audiences can experience a Roving Art Tutor from Tuesdays to Fridays, 10am to 1pm, or join multiple workshops across the month, including habitat building, creativity adaptation.
There will also be Free Art Sunday for families, expressive drawing and animation for teens, and Sip & Sketch with local artists Rosie Turner and Lucas Grogan for adults.
The popular Free Art Sunday continues weekly from 10.30am to 12.30pm, where people of all ages can let their creativity run wild with all materials provided thanks to the support of Cleverpatch and the Maitland Regional Art Gallery Members.
On January 20 from 1pm to 2pm, audiences can join renowned Australian artist Andrew Sullivan as he discusses work on display in current exhibition, 'Survey into the Cretaceous'.
Please note the Gallery is closed every Monday, and Australia Day.
