Some of them have had a rough start to life and need to start a new chapter with a loving family.
There's Stan and Samson the silkies, who were terribly lost before they were brought to the RSPCA. They love scratching around together for seeds and bugs, and veggies are some of their favourite foods.
If canines are more suitable why not set up a meet and greet with Cedric, the 3-year-old Boxer-Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He ended up at the shelter as a stray and would benefit from ongoing training and building a bond with his new family. He also enjoys daily walks.
Felines are also well represented with a variety of ages and personalities.
To make an appointment to meet and greet these animals phone 4939 1555. The shelter is open every day from 9am until 4pm, except Tuesday.
