From May 7 to 9, the popular Taste Festival - Deconstructed will pop-up at different locations across the city.
The three-day festival will offer a trifecta of food, beverages and entertainment - and for the first time, operate until 10pm.
The church grounds of St John's Parish in Cathedral Street will be transformed into The Meating Place - the perfect place for BBQ lovers, with the crews from Smokin Hot n Saucy and Foghorn Brewery teaming up.
It will operate from 5pm to 10pm on Friday, 11am to 10pm on Saturday and 11am to 3pm on Sunday.
While from 5pm to 10pm on Friday and Saturday night, Turner Rest Park (near Maitland Police Station) will play host to Mezze Beats, which will see stalls, including Gnocked Up accompanied by Euro sounds from DJ Perry Carter.
Coffin Lane will transform into an exclusive Laneway Bar featuring locally made Gin from The Farmers Wife Distillery and tasty treats from Taco Locato.
Running from 10am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday, the event's day program at The Levee will feature gourmet food and artisan market stalls, food trucks, cooking demonstrations, live music, kids activities and gardening demonstrations by Anambah locals, Purple Pear Farm.
From 5pm to 10pm on Friday and Saturday night, The Levee will come to life with vibrant, interactive lighting sculptures, by Sydney based creatives Amigo Amigo and Illuminart.
Kids will be able to immerse themselves in the illuminated Butterfly Dome by Newcastle sensory artist and designer Bliss Cavanagh.
