A development application for 160 manufactured home in Rutherford, tipped for approval, will go before Maitland City Council on Tuesday night.

The development application has been lodged with Council seeking consent for the development of a manufactured home estate comprising 160 sites, eight separate access roads.
It would also see the construction of a number of facilities including community centre / sports pavilion, pool, tennis court, bowling green, community garden and men's shed.
The council report read "the developer intends to market and operate the complex as an over 50's lifestyle village known as Stonybrook Village".
"It will provide an independent living retirement village that will operate on a similar basis to a retirement village," it read.
The application was advertised for a period of 28 days from the August 4 to September 2, 2020. No submissions were received.
The development has been recommended for approval by council officers and decided on at Tuesday night's meeting.
