* Australia's tourism sector is urging the government to set a timeframe for the nation's reopening, as question marks remain over when international travel will resume.

* While Tuesday's federal budget assumes Australia's international border will open next year, senior government ministers indicated there will be no rush to do so.

* Tourism and Transport Forum chief Margy Osmond is calling for a clear calendar for when Australia will open, based on the vaccination rollout.

* Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the international border would only open when it was safe.

* Another 351,000 Pfizer doses have arrived in Australia and will be tested by medical regulators.

* There were 2,663,221 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Sunday, including 8883 in the previous 24 hours.

* Of the total, 1,725,283 have been administered by the Commonwealth (an increase of 5169 in the previous 24 hours).

* 1,463,187 have been issued in primary care (+4871) and 262,096 in aged and disability facilities (+298).

* 937,938 have been administered by the states and territories, including 3714 in the previous 24 hours.

* 263,065 have been administered in Victoria (+1913), 235,852 in NSW (+0), 157,164 in Queensland (+0), 114,506 in Western Australia (+882), 70,310 in South Australia (+530), 43,727 in Tasmania (+107), 33,873 in the ACT (+246) and 19,441 in the NT (+36).

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Australia reported no new locally acquired virus cases on Monday. There were nine new overseas-acquired cases: six in NSW, two in Victoria, and one in Queensland.

* The national death toll is 910: Victoria 820, NSW 56, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3 (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 158,337,000

* Deaths: at least 3,293,000

* Recovered: at least 94,382,000.
