Temperatures are set to dip to 3 degrees on Sunday and 2 degrees Monday with day time tops of 17 and 18 degrees respectively.
Frosts are likely on both days according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Maitland has had its fair share of fine weather recently with unseasonally warm and humid conditions - even thunderstorms.
A top of 25.8 degrees on May 3 has been the warmest day for May to date.
